This site gives you instant access to community information and events near the Cool Spring Terrace community in and around Adelphi, Maryland and the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.

You do not have to be a neighbor to enjoy this site. Read announcements from the Cool Spring Terrace Civic Association (CSTCA), add your comments, check activities, and find resources.

Our community is nestled among the trees across from the University of Maryland’s 18-hole golf course, just before the intersection of Adelphi Road and University Boulevard. The photo is an aerial view derived from the multiscale United States Geological Survey maps made available through the University of California.

The purpose of the Cool Spring Terrace Civic Association is to ensure a good quality of life in the neighborhood by sharing information to keep it safe, by bonding with our neighbors, and by ensuring that property values stay up because property standards are maintained.

Site Design and Maintenance

The Cool Spring Terrace Association site was originally developed in Dec 1994 by Cynthia Lockley. It was redesigned and converted to a WordPress blog by Cynthia Lockley, Dec 2009.
